This diplomatic event, described as historic by Aminu Wali, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria, has deepened the Franco-German cooperation with the continent and with ECOWAS, and the exchanges with Nigerian authorities about political, security and public health questions. Interviews with civil society highlighted the socio-political complexity of the situation in the north of the country (terrorism, Chibok Girls). Joint cooperation projects have been announced for the victims of terrorism and in the fight against the epidemic of Ebola fever.
