Sustainability in architecture

Employing the right principles and materials for Nigeria’s environment.

L’Institut français du Nigéria and Green Habitat Initiative organized a roundtable on sustainable architecture on May 31st 2017 in the context of the ‘One environment festival’.

This round-table gathered experts and researchers from France and Nigeria: Nmadili Okwumabua (Founder of Community Planning & Design Initiative Africa), Stéphane Pouffary (Founder of ENERGIES 2050), Dr Armelle Choplin (Researcher at the IRD in Cotonou), Dr. Sherif Y. Razak (District Officer, Department of Development Control, FCTA), Sadiq Abubakar Gulma (Founder of the Green Habitat Initiative).

More than 120 people attended the event, including architects, students and professionals of the sector.
