Signature of a collaboration agreement between the Ambassade of France to Nigeria and the Nigerian Turkish Nile University
On January 19th 2016, The Ambassador of France to Nigeria and Professor Huseyin SERT, Vice-Chancellor of the Nigerian Turkish Nile University signed a collaboration agreement for the promotion and teaching of French on the campus.
At the request of this institution wishing to develop language learning, the collaboration agreement plans to strengthen the teaching of French, the organisation and the issuance of French language diplomas (DELF, DALF in particular).
The Institut français du Nigeria will set up training sessions for teachers to improve the quality of teaching as well as two annual exam sessions. A resource center will be created in the library of the University for students and teachers. Finally, the university will authorize the events organized by the French Institute of Nigeria about the Francophonie and the promotion of study in France.
This agreement strengthens our visibility and that of the Institut français du Nigeria in and around Abuja.
