MEDEF visits Nigeria
MEDEF, a major network of French companies, is visiting Nigeria. Mr Philippe Labonne, vice chairman of its Africa Committee, affirms that "Nigeria is a land of investment and opportunities for French companies through local partnerships."
MEDEF is a major network of French companies representing large, medium and small-sized companies. It is visiting Nigeria for three days to meet with public authorities, Nigerian private sector representatives as well as the French business community in both Abuja and Lagos.
"Nigeria is a land of investment and opportunities for French companies through local partnerships", says Mr Philippe Labonne, vice chairman of MEDEF’s Africa Committee. This mission is a testimony of their interest for Nigeria, which is France’s first trade partner in Sub-Saharan Africa. Both countries have a lot to gain from deepening exchanges and investments. In a lot of sectors French expertise can be beneficial to Nigeria’s economic development.
A wide range of sectors are represented in the business mission, such as: oil & gas, health, transportation, aerospace industry, banking & financial services, energy, security, agroindustry, and engineering.
