“Hear Word! Naija Women talk true” at the IFN
The Institut français du Nigéria hosted on July 5, 2017, “Hear Word ! Naija Women talk true”. Produced by iOpenEye, "Hear Word !" addresses societal issues with a special focus on the role of women in society.
Already seen by over 17,500 people, the show was back to Abuja in a new 45-minutes performance. It was followed by a discussion with the director, Ifeoma Fafunwa, and the players.
More than 200 people from different backgrounds attended the event and took part in the discussion (business women, lawmakers, students, market-women, religious leaders, women and men from two Abuja IDP camps, members of NGOs).
Hear WORD! is also touring the French cultural network at the Alliance Française of Enugu and the Institute for African Studies in Ibadan.
