Francophonie day at the "Alliance française" of Lagos, March 17, 2017
For the "Francophonie" festival, the "Alliance Francaise Lagos", with the support of the French Embassy in Nigeria, invited Florent Couao-Zotti from the Republic of Benin. The presence of the internationally known author offered an opportunity for discussions on Brazilian communities in this country, based on his novel « Les fantômes du Brésil ». The audience had the opportunity to discover this topic or learn more about it.
The Club RFI Lagos was launched earlier that same day. Close to a hundred people made their way to the Alliance Francaise of Lagos : students from the Alliance and from Badagri French Village, teachers, etc. Pierre Cherruau, audiovisual attaché, Moïse Gomis, RFI correspondant, and Soti Akinola from RFI Hausa were present and gave a few words to commend the initiative. The audience was able to better know Club RFI and its mission thanks to a presentation by its President, Mr Valentine, and to enjoy performances by the students of the Alliance.
