On the 28th of October, the 11th Grand Finale of LIMCAF (Life In My City Art Festival) was held in Enugu.

The festival was initiated to encourage and promote young Nigerian artists in the visual arts and to develop their professionalism. Last year, to mark the 10th anniversary of the festival, the French Embassy launched the Young Creation Award to be attributed during the festival.

This year, on the occasion of the Grand Finale 2017, the French Embassy in Nigeria presented the Young Creation Award to Raji Bamidele Abdulgaffar, a talented artist based in Lagos.
