AFD - Rural Access and Mobility Project in the Niger State
A delegation, led by the Ambassador of France to Nigeria, Mr. Denys Gauer, was in the Niger State on November 21, 2016.
The Ambassador, accompanied by the Country director of the Agence Française de Développement (AFD, French Development Agency), Mr. Olivier Delefosse, met the Governor, Mr. Abubakar Sani Bello.
The delegation visited on-going works of rural roads within the framework of the Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP phase II) co-funded by AFD and the World Bank. AFD is mobilizing USD 60 million for this project, out of which USD 15 million in the Niger State.
Mr. Denys Gauer also visited the Islamic Education Trust set up in Minna in 1969.
